RK 8878 double-sided mounting tape – 49573 at a glance
RK 8878 double-sided mounting tape is a double-sided adhesive tape with a PE foam backing. At 1,500 mm wide and 500 m long, it provides extensive coverage for mounting large areas. Its 0.8 mm thickness and black coating allow it to blend into applications where it remains visible.
The PE foam backing conforms to uneven surfaces and thus ensures even adhesive contact, while the adhesive, based on acrylic, provides good initial tack and lasting strength. The liner in black protects the adhesive surface until use.
Suitable for mounting along contours and across surfaces
Attachments that follow contours closely
The flexible PE foam backing follows contours, edges and curved surfaces. This increases adhesive contact even on irregular substrates and reduces the risk of air bubbles.
Large-area mounting
On smooth materials such as metal, plastic or wood, the acrylic adhesive system provides a reliable long-term bond under moderate loads.
