RK 874 Double-Sided Adhesive Tape at a Glance
The RK 874 double-sided adhesive tape is a fabric adhesive tape with a fabric backing and rubber adhesive. The silicone paper liner protects the adhesive until use. The tape is white and is particularly suitable for attaching large areas to smooth surfaces. With a width of 1040 mm and a length of 500 m, it provides a large amount of material on a roll; its 0.34 mm thickness allows good conformability, while the 76 mm core makes it easier to use in roll unwinders.
This product is suitable for applications in which both sides of the adhesive tape are visible while joined components are being attached, such as assemblies or the attachment of components to smooth surfaces.
Suitable for Assembly and Fastening Applications
The double-sided adhesive tape is particularly suitable for attaching larger areas to smooth substrates on both sides. Applications include attaching signs, panels and profiles where reliable adhesion and conformity to contours are required. The fabric backing structure provides flexibility around edges and curves, while the rubber adhesive offers strong initial tack and good holding power. The silicone paper liner allows easy, clean handling until application.

Fabric Backing
The fabric backing conforms well to uneven surfaces and distributes pressure evenly.
Adhesive
The rubber adhesive provides strong initial tack and good adhesion in service. It resists minor temperature fluctuations and can be used on many substrates.
Liner
The silicone paper liner protects the adhesive until final assembly and makes the protective layer easier to remove.
Application & Practice
- Prepare the substrate: clean, dry and free from grease.
- Position: mark locations and guide the tape.
- Remove the silicone paper and align the adhesive surface correctly.
- Roll down under pressure or press firmly, avoiding bubbles.
