Krückemeyer RK 870 Double-Sided Adhesive Tape at a Glance
The RK 870 double-sided adhesive tape is a fabric adhesive tape based on a fabric backing with a synthetic rubber adhesive. Its silicone paper liner ensures clean application. At 50 mm wide and 25 m long, it is suitable for long-term assembly, surface bonding and profile attachment.
Its colour is white, its thickness is 0.25 mm, and its core has a diameter of 76 mm. The system provides robust adhesion to many substrates, particularly uneven or textured surfaces, thanks to its fabric backing.
Suitable Applications for Fabric Adhesive Tape
The fabric backing conforms well to contours, which is particularly useful for assembly and attaching profiles and mounting signs. The double-sided adhesive surface bonds on both sides without an additional fastener, saving time and treating surfaces gently.

Fabric Backing Construction with Synthetic Rubber
The fabric backing conforms well to contours and increases tear resistance compared with flexible film tapes. The adhesive provides strong adhesion to typical substrates such as metal, plastic or painted surfaces and reliably joins the two sides. The liner made of silicone paper protects the adhesive layer until use.
Application & Practice
- Clean and degrease the surfaces.
- Position and align both sides of the tape.
- Remove the silicone paper from one side and press the surfaces together firmly.
- Check the additional bond and adjust the edges if necessary.
