The RK 800 double-sided adhesive tape system from Krückemeyer uses a nonwoven backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive. At 1,000 mm wide and 200 m long, it is suitable for bonding large areas. Its thickness is 0.16 mm, with a 76 mm core. The colour is transparent, and a silicone paper liner provides the covering.

The nonwoven backing provides even pressure distribution and good conformity to surface contours. The adhesive provides strong adhesion to typical construction and material substrates, while the transparent appearance allows discreet bonding.

The product is suitable for applications where both sides of the tape must form a strong bond without affecting the appearance, for example when attaching films, nonwovens or lightweight seals.

Application & practical guidance

1. Prepare surfaces: clean, dry and free from grease
2. Position the tape and check its alignment
3. Remove the silicone paper and position the second adhesive side on the mating part
4. Press down evenly, using a pressure roller to avoid air bubbles
