RK 1020 Double-Sided Plate Mounting Tape at a Glance
RK 1020 Double-Sided Plate Mounting Tape is an adhesive tape solution with rigid PVC film as the backing and a creped PVC film liner. The adhesive is based on rubber and provides good initial adhesion on suitable substrates.
With a width of 1250 mm and a length of 25 m, the tape has a thickness of 0.2 mm and a core of 76 mm, making it ideal for wide, long applications. The transparent color enables discreet bonding, particularly with printing plate materials where appearance is important.
Applications of RK 1020 Double-Sided Plate Mounting Tape
Mounting and Securing Printing Plates
The combination of rigid PVC film and rubber adhesive makes the tape suitable for securely positioning printing plates, samples or templates before further processing. The wide roll saves time when positioning on large-format printing plates.
Suitability for PVC and Plastic Surfaces
The adhesive provides good adhesion on smooth as well as printed surfaces, while the creped PVC liner protects during storage and application and minimizes scratches.
